Brian Williams
Brian Williams, former national television news anchor of the NBC nightly news was exposed for fabricating a false story about himself in a helicopter getting shot and forced down in Iraq. Do some research for yourself on this story. Now, he did not just make up this story himself. Hundreds of NBC staff members are responsible for creating this false story and almost all of them still work at NBC today. When a powerful news organization like NBC is exposed for creating fake news, It shows they have the capacity and willingness to fake a story. This is like when you spot a roach in your house, you know their are others in the walls that you are unaware of. NBC has shown the capacity and willingness to fake a story so do not you think they have faked other stories in the past that have not been exposed? Why would they not attempt to a fake story in the future? Only this time they are better liars. Most capitalistic news programs are just there to get your attention and to tell you the most horrific thing of the day. As more people seek out horrific news stories, it gives an incentive to do horrific things to gain attention collecting more capital. All the other stories are just distraction from the story, the "news" is causing you to go to brain dead. If you want to know if someone is mentally ill, ask them if they like true crime dramas. Only by looking away can you do any good. To really understand what is going on you must collect information from multiple sources and do your own fact checking. Sometimes you must go outside and smell the roses to really understand what is going on.
